Our story
HonestBegin Floristry started as a small studio workshop where weekend learners asked for more than recipes. They wanted to understand why a bouquet feels balanced, how to price with integrity, and how to show up confidently for clients. We built a school around those questions.
Today, we teach structured courses that blend craft, business, and ethics. We believe floristry is a dialogue between color, texture, and season—made stronger by community support.
Mission and values
- Clarity over trends: we teach decision-making, not just tutorials.
- Care for the planet: sustainable mechanics and mindful sourcing.
- Practical business: quoting, proposals, and resilient workflows.
- Community-first: critique with kindness; progress over perfection.
Teaching philosophy
We sequence courses so each builds on the previous: mechanics, composition, color systems, then event-scale installations. You’ll practice with studio briefs that simulate real timelines and budgets.
Structured learning
Clear milestones, feedback loops, and portfolio goals.
Practice over perfection
Briefs modeled on retail and wedding deliverables.
Ethical foundations
Seasonal choices, reuse strategies, safe rigging.
